Hisun’s Donation to Fight Against Covid in Shanghai
In March of 2022, COVID-19 spread rapidly in Shanghai, China. In order to control the situation and minimize the losses, the Shanghai government decided to shut down the city for good. However, without urban transportation and labor, citizens in Shanghai started to run into difficulties such as a shortage of medicine for older, formulas for kids, and even home supplies. Knowing of the situation, Jihong Huang, Hisun’s CEO, immediately got in touch with her friend Ran Huo who has lived in Shanghai for dozens of years.
Understanding Mrs. Huang’s concern and care for citizens in Shanghai, Mrs. Huo kindly connected Hisun with Fosum Foundation which has not only a mature supply chain system in Shanghai which allows supplies to reach the needs, but also has connections with local organizations, charities, churches, etc. With Forum Foundation’s help and volunteers’ hard work, Hisun’s donation eventually was able to help over 1000 elders and hundreds of kids. The supplies were continuously delivered to the citizens in need.
